SEVEN RIDERS PENALIZED IN LOUDON PRO HONDA OILS 600CC SUPERSPORT RACE

WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- A total of seven riders, including winner Aaron Yates,
were penalized one lap for passing on a waving yellow flag during the Pro
Honda Oils 600cc SuperSport final at New Hampshire International Speedway
on June 15. Riders penalized include: Aaron Yates, Pascal Picotte, Jamie
Hacking, Tom Kipp, Ben Bostrom, Matt Wait and Rad Greaves.

As a result of the penalties, Miguel Duhamel, who originally finished
second, was awarded the win.

According to AMA Pro Racing's Road Racing Manager Ron Barrick, there were
so many reports of passing in the turn three area late in the race, that
there was not enough time to signal all the riders for a stop and go
penalty, the standard method for handling such infractions. Further, the
final decision to penalize the riders could not be made until video tapes
of the incident were reviewed.
