Event Point Standings page lists the finishing positions and points earned by riders who qualified for that day's Main Event. If you're favorite rider is not listed in the Event Point Standings page, he did not qualify for the Main Event.
The Overall Point Standings page lists the points earned by each rider through both days of competition, or 2 Main Events. You'll notice the Overall Point Standings page has a Wins column. This column lists the sum of the wins for Saturday's and Sunday's Main Events.
