Will Davis finished 5th Saturday night.

A view of the bikes in attendance.

The Suzuki TL1000S of Robert Buffington. He didn't finish the SuperTrapp SuperTracker final.

Chris Carr's 1st-place finish boosted his series points lead to 22.

Chris and son, Cameron, enjoy dad's first win of the year.

If you're plugged in, you can get in this Drag Specialties hospitality tent. If not, get used to this angle of the tent.

Steve Morehead being interviewed by announcer Tim Cotter. Morehead finished a very respectable 4th.

Morehead took the win in the SuperTrapp SuperTracker final. He also leads in points with his first win Sat. night.

Scott Parker, shown with a smile on his face.

Parker, with not so much smile.

What do ex-dirt-trackers do when they don't have a road race to work at? They visit the local Grand National and catch up with old buds. Larry Pegram, Fast By Ferracci Ducati rider, enjoying the half-mile.

The faces on the victory podium after the Grand National race say it all.

Here's the restart after an accident caused a red flag on the second-to-last lap. Parker was leading before the red flag, Carr won after the 5-lap restart. Take another look at Parker's face on the left.

Your third-place finsher George Roeder II.

Cotter asking Roeder a few questions earlier in the day.

No hi-tech facilities needed at AMA Grand National Dirt Track. AMA Pro Racing scorers at work on the start/finish line.

Jay Springsteen struggled to 15th in the main.

Qualifying race starts.

Scott Parker's famous wrench Bill Werner.

Young gun Willie McCoy. This shot was obviously taken earlier in the day, cause young Willie didn't make the Grand National main.

Another young gun, Mike Hacker, faired better. Although he finished last in the Grand National main event, he took fourth in the SuperTrapp SuperTracker main.

This young man once led the Grand National series and the Pro Honda Oils 600 SuperSport Series at the same time. You know him, Nicky Hayden. Proof that some road racers still dirt-track when they're not road racing. Nicky didn't do so well Saturday though -- he didn't make the main.
