  • Race Report - Jared Mees - Springfield 2012

Here we were back at it in full swing in Springfield, two and a half months after Daytona. Last year we had an amazing weekend, first winning the Mile and placing 2nd in the TT. I knew that matching those results would not be easy. It was the hottest I have ever been in Springfield... record temperatures added to the mix. » more

  • Ryan Wells/Weirbach Racing Springfield Report

On May 26th, The Weirbach Racing team and I traveled to Springfield Illinois to ride the Springfield TT. Going into this event I wasn't quite sure what to expect. After finishing up the free practice I felt very comfortable on the track and bike and I knew I would be able to throw down a solid time during the two qualifying sessions » more

  • Jared Mees Race Report, Savannah and Daytona 1 & 2

The 2012 AMA Pro Flat Track racing season started, as usual, in Savannah, GA. This is probably the best half-mile on the schedule. We started off with an open practice session the night before just to shake down the bikes and test some stuff. It went well for me and I felt good. » more

  • Jimmy Wood and Aaron Colton - Off-Season Riding

The winter time is sort of a funny time for racers, a ton of waiting around, worrying about getting programs set for Daytona, while trying to stay fit for the next season. For our crew of buddies we are all over the place and rarely get together like we do during the season. » more

  • Jared Mees Blog: The Iceman Cometh 2012!

I was almost unable to make this race due to the weather. We had a lot of snow Thursday night into Friday morning. I was flying out on Friday morning for a race that night -- cutting it close. » more

  • Jared Mees Race Report: Pomona

After the events that transpired at Calistoga, the race for the championship became very tight , with only eight points separating the three leaders. The only thing to do was to go to Pomona with a positive attitude. This was not a type of track in which I have been dominant in the past, but have done reasonably well on this kind of surface. Qualifying did not go well though. I felt OK, but just did not have the times I wanted. » more

  • Jeremy Hamilton Race Report: Springfield, Knoxville, & Brainerd

Springfield was great and horrible all in the same weekend. The short track on Saturday was a challenge to say the least. We showed up that morning to the track and received a part of our motor from WKR and had to try and put my 2011 Honda CRF450R together at the track before the races that night. After a whole lot of stressing and rushing trying to get it together and run, it still wasn’t running right in time for qualifying. » more

  • Mikey Martin Race Report: Brainerd & Calistoga

The Brainerd Half Mile was the first time we raced at this facility. It was a slippery third mile track and I was fast but I kept making small mistakes. I qualified eighth overall. » more

  • Jared Mees Race Report: Brainerd

I was told this track was small. I didn’t know quite what to expect, but when we arrived, I quickly realized how small it was! When I finally got on the track, it seemed even smaller. I have never run on a track this small before racing a Harley-Davidson XR750. Well I thought, hope for the best. » more
