Daytona Beach, Fla. (March 6, 2012) – Team boss Barry Gilsenan and 2011 AMA Pro Motorcycle-SuperStore.com SuperSport National Champion and current team rider James Rispoli discuss first few laps on the teams new 2012 Suzuki GSX-R600s and new K-Tech suspension combination at Jennings GP Race Track. The team along with Team Manager and Crew Chief William Myers had a great couple of days working together for the first time. Over a rain shortened two days of testing the team came together and made extraordinary progress both on and off the track.
“The testing went better than I could have imagined.” stated Rispoli. “The bikes were ready, motors were stout compared to last years machines and the new K-Tech suspension rocked-it. My communication with my crew chief Will got better and by the end of the test he and I were clearly on the same page. I came away from the test with a good vibe about the team, my team mate and everyone involved. I think the Celtic – Orient Express Racing team is on track for a great year and I can’t wait to get rolling at DAYTONA.”
