(June 24, 2012) - Very hot and humid temperatures greeted Celtic Racing upon arriving at Barber Motorsports Park just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. With a SuperSport field of 40 riders on the Barber Motorsports Park circuit, finding space for a clean lap was difficult for both riders. At 2.38 miles long and with 14 turns, Barber forces riders to work and offers barely any rest.

Corey and James worked through the practice and two qualifying sessions to secure their positions at the front of the grid for the weekend's races. James found a few extra thousandths Saturday morning, and secured his third place starting position, while Corey found some consistency and took the fifth spot on the starting grid.

In Saturday's SuperSport race one, James Rispoli got a good start on his Celtic Orient Express Racing Suzuki GSX-R 600 from the front row and worked his way to the front as the pack went through the first corners. For about half the race, James was in a close battle for the lead with Dominguez and Lewis, but then the leaders opened a gap at a pace Rispoli could not match and he would finish third. Alexander got a good start from fifth on the grid, taking some newly refined skills and putting them to good use. Corey would work through traffic and passed Puerta and Meyers to finish fifth at the checkered flag.

Rispoli is looking forward to Sunday's race and looks to step further up the podium in race two stating that "race one went ok, it just seemed like all the work my crew and I did before the race here at Barber didn't work in the race! But we got plenty of points and we are going make some changes for the morning warm up before Sunday's race. It's been a great weekend so far, and all my training in the Florida heat is paying off big time. Other than that great weekend so far! Many thanks to my personal sponsors AGV, Dainese Leathers, Monster Energy, and Techmount for all their support. Please follow me on Twitter (@JamesRispoli) and Facebook for the latest updates!"

Corey Alexander knows what it will take to get on the podium Sunday and stated that "So far this weekend has been going smooth, unfortunately smooth isn't good enough. After today's 5th place finish I feel like my team has given me a good enough bike to put it on the podium. We are making some changes and I hope to move the National Guard Fairhills Group Suzuki up a few positions. Special thanks to my crew, Spidi Leathers, XPD Boots, and Arai Helmets."
