Temecula, CA (April 4, 2013). – As the AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike season kicks into high gear, we continue to follow the heart-pounding and high-speed antics of Chris Fillmore, an engaging, young Superbike racer. As the series continues, we get a deeper, more human look into all parts of Chris’ life- on and off the track. This week’s episode takes a somber, yet life-affirming turn, when Chris and fellow riders rally to face the reality of critical events on the track.
Following Fillmore, episode three, is a heartfelt dedication to Rocco Horvath, a young and spirited racer whose future was sideswiped in a road racing crash back in June of 2012 – leaving him paralyzed.
Jason Pridmore and the STAR Motorcycle School, organized a track day at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway on November 2nd to benefit the 18-year-old racer. All of the proceeds from the day went to Rocco’s recovery and his family.
“I race for fun,” Chris says sobered and straight– but it’s a dangerous sport. Honor the courage, the fragility, the tender community of even the most adrenaline-soaked sports and lifestyles – check out http://youtu.be/nwZJS7qQSqI for the latest episode of Following Fillmore, released today.
