Career Highlights

2014 - Kopp returned to the GNC1 ranks and competed in select events. He finished 12th at Colonial Downs. 

2012 - Started just one race but made the most of it, coming in 7th place at Castle Rock. 

2011 - Kopp competed in two races in the GNC Singles and earned a best position of fifth-place at the Castle Rock Race Park.  Raced with Latus Harley-Davidson/Kawasaki.

2010 - Kopp had a milestone season finishing second in the overall points standings, giving Ducati its first ever GNC win. The last non-Harley victory in a Grand National Twins race was on August 8th, 1998 when Rich King won the Joliet Half Mile on a Honda.  The last non-Harley win on a mile was on September 5th, 1993 when the late Ricky Graham won the Springfield Mile on a Honda. Kopp earned three main event wins at Yavapai Downs, Lake Odessa, MI and Hagerstown, MD.  Raced with Latus Motors/ENI USA R&M/Lloyd Brothers Motorsports race team.

2009 - Kopp won two AMA Pro Grand National Championship events, his first ever Short Track Grand National Win at Daytona March 5th and Grove City Mile, and also earned seven additional Top5 finishes.  Raced in the AMA Pro National Hot Shoe Series taking two wins at Jackpine Gypsies in Sturgis and Peoria TT.  Raced with Latus Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Lanpheres Beaverton Renton Honda Racing team. 

2008 - Kopp won three AMA?Grand National Twins races at Bedford, Pennsylavia, Lima, Ohio and Topeka, Kansas on Oct. 4th.  Kopp also managed to earn himself three additional podium finishes.  He earned three Top3 finishes in the AMA?Grand National Singles Championship.  Raced in the AMA 750/1000 Hot Shoe series with one win at Dayton, Ohio and a podium position in the AMA 450 Hot Shoe series at Dayton, Ohio.  Raced with Screamin’ Eagle Latus Harley-Davidson.
