Call-to-entry for inaugural AMA Pro Racing
Advertising AwardsAMA Pro Racing press release
As part of its inaugural advertising awards
program, AMA Pro Racing reminds all interested advertisers and
agencies of record that have produced ads promoting success in
AMA professional racing event to submit entry forms by Sept. 30,
2004.
Two separate awards – one for the best print ad
and one for the best television ad – will be given at the AMA
Pro Racing Awards Banquet in November in Las Vegas.
“Translating on-track success in AMA Pro Racing
events into compelling sales and marketing tools is one part of
an effective overall advertising strategy,” said Kerry Graeber,
AMA Pro Racing Vice President, Director of Communications.
“Just like in racing, creating a memorable ad
requires a team effort, from strategy and design to copywriting
and placement. Announcing the inaugural awards at our annual
banquet is a great way for us to showcase the best work of the
motorcycle industry’s marketing and advertising people. A number
of great ads have already been submitted so the competition is
going to be fierce.”
All advertisers that promoted either a race win
during the 2004 season or a championship from the 2003 season
are eligible. Voting will be conducted by AMA Pro Racing
personnel and the awards will be presented during the November
banquet program.
Anyone interested in submitting their
advertisements should visit www.amaproracing.com for complete
details and entry forms. There is no fee to enter and
advertisers may submit as many eligible ads as they wish.
