AMA Pro Racing launches online press room for
mediaAMA Pro Racing press release
AMA Pro Racing is pleased to announce the launch
of a new online resource for members of the media to learn more
about AMA Pro Racing sanctioned competition. The AMA Pro Racing
Press Room, available at
www.amaproracing.com/pressroom, is accessible to accredited
members of the media and will provide a source of information
about AMA motorcycle racing, AMA Pro Racing and the many racing
series the company manages.
Part of the impetus for the creation of the
website is the growing number of press inquires AMA Pro Racing’s
Communications Department has been receiving. “We’re
experiencing an increasing number of inquiries from the media,
particularly mainstream media, and this website is designed to
provide the kind of information they are seeking,” says Kerry
Graeber, AMA Pro Racing vice president of communications.
“This is a nice situation to be in, but we’ve
realized that frequently the mainstream media know very little
about our sport. Our Press Room will give these folks the basics
as well as more detailed information about the AMA Championships
we manage. While the site is designed to primarily offer
fundamental information it will also contain some material that
will be useful to more knowledgeable media members, as well.
Plus, we’ll be able to evolve the site depending on usage,” adds
Graeber.
In addition to facts about each AMA Championship
and AMA Pro Racing, the Press Room contains every AMA Pro Racing
news release issued from the beginning of 2004, marketing and
demographic information, the AMA Pro Racing Style Guides, media
guides, and more.
To enter the password-protected website, media
must register with the site before gaining immediate entry.
