The entire 2012 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Series Championship came down to the wire at NOLA Motorsports Park. The two biggest dogs in the fight were KWR/KLR Group's Michael Barnes and Suburban Motors H-D's Tyler O'Hara. Though O'Hara crossed the checkered first, it was Barnes who was awarded the win and championship.
