NEW YORK, NY (May 11, 2011) - Team Celtic Fast By Ferracci Racing’s PJ Jacobsen will be looking for redemption this weekend at Round #2 of the AMA Pro Road Racing series, which is being held at the scenic Infineon Raceway in Northern California, and is part of the West Coast Moto Jam weekend.

The New York based racer has set some of the fastest lap times in numerous testing and warm up sessions, but with only one race in the books, young Jacobsen has yet to score the overall results that he knows he is capable of.

The team has been preparing, and since Daytona, they have tested at both New Jersey Motorsports Park and Miller Motorsports Park, which was an official AMA Pro Racing test session. In addition, the Teams Technical director, Eraldo Ferracci, has been busy doing what he does best - working away on his in-house shop Dyno and looking for more horsepower.

“Well, pretty much, we are ready to go. We just want to get out on the track and show what we are capable of, which is run up front.” says Barry Gileson, owner of Celtic Racing and a long time sponsor of PJ Jacobsen. “PJ has been training up a storm, and he is hungry, motivated, fit, and just ready go. We had some bad luck at the first round in Daytona, and with a few weeks off and between races, we are ready to show what we are capable of.”

This will be Jacobsen’s second time competing at Infineon Raceway, and he will be mounted on the teams capable twin cylinder Ducati 848EVO machine.

Practice and qualifying kicks off on Friday at 12pm, with racing on both Saturday and Sunday. If you are not able to make it out to the track, make sure to tune into the SPEED Network for the television highlights over the weekend.
