After a drought of podiums Jason DiSalvo finished 3rd at the Moto GP Laguna Seca race weekend July 23rd and 24th. The team pulled together and Jason showed his true talent by again setting the pole position for the fourth time this season and adding a fourth podium to his three previous 1st place positions.
The race was held under perfect conditions with Jason taking the lead from his pole position and appeared to have the race under total control. When a red flag created a delay and a restart of the race, again Jason was able to control the pace of the race leading most laps. Then a second red flag ended the race, which was shortened due to television coverage, ultimately leaving Jason to finish 3rd. He expressed his thanks to the team for providing him with a competitive machine and support to once again be on the podium.
The points standings with Jason in 3rd, only three points behind 2nd place, is an improvement with only two races left.
Jason will be testing in the upcoming weeks for preparation of the final round at New Jersey Motorsports Park, September 2nd, 3rd & 4th.
