JOHNSTOWN, Ohio (October 31, 2011) - AMA Pro SuperSport rider Ryan Kerr presented a check to Mr. Larry Smith, Trustee, for the Earth Angel Foundation. Kerr was scheduled to participate in a fundraising event with the foundation on September 11, 2011, however he was recovering from his incident in New Jersey and was unable to participate.

Kerr explains, “I have always connected with kids throughout my life and enjoy interacting with them at the races and during the fan walks. It breaks my heart to think of children who are limited in what they can do because of an illness. I wanted to reach out to these children and help in some way.”

The Earth Angel Foundation enriches the lives of terminally ill children by allowing them to be treated to dream vacations of their choice. 100 % of every donation is utilized to provide these children with first class memories and an escape from the serious health challenges that they are facing. Kerr states, “It truly makes me feel thankful to be able to compete as an AMA pro rider and live my dream. So many children are not as fortunate as I have been in my life and this is my way of giving back to help children live their dreams too.“ In addition to Kerr’s monetary donation, he provided the foundation with Ryan Kerr Racing hats and shirts to be shared with those children who are struggling with an illness.
