Ocala, Fla. (March 1, 2012) - Project 1 Atlanta (P1A) was recently contacted by a former racer and fan of motorcycle roadracing, Jim Bronson, as a partner to help raise awareness & support for the March of Dimes March for Babies. The March of Dimes is a charity he actively supports and to which he is deeply committed. By bringing together two of his passions, the March of Dimes and motorcycle roadracing, Jim believes they can enter an un-tapped market for the promotion of this charitable organization.

There are over 20,000 companies nationwide that support the March of Dimes March for Babies. The March of Dimes is the number one charity for maternal and child health. The March for Babies was America’s first fundraising walk and is still the March of Dimes leading fundraiser with 900 communities participating across the county. “P1A’s partnership with the March of Dimes will help introduce many new potential fans to the sport and partners for the March of Dimes, something that would be mutually beneficial to both the March of Dimes as well as AMA Pro Racing,” comments Jim Bronson.

“We are extremely flattered to have the opportunity to support the March of Dimes and promote awareness to such a great cause,” said P1A’s team owner, Perry Melneciuc. “We are equally excited to have Joey Pascarella, a very talented young rider, join our team. I have watched Joey come up the ranks as a Red Bull Rookie, to his AMA Pro SuperSport West Championship in 2010, as well as his ventures in Europe in 2011. It’s obvious from his results that Joey has the speed and talent to run with the guys at the front.”

Joey hopes to take full advantage of this distinctive opportunity to raise awareness for the March of Dimes by delivering an exceptional performance that will capture the attention of thousands of fans, as well as the entire racing community worldwide. “I’m very fortunate to have this opportunity to showcase my capabilities on a world-class stage in front of all my sponsors and fans, while helping to raise awareness for such a great cause like the March of Dimes. My sponsors have been enormously supportive of this endeavor including Project 1 Atlanta, the Jon Block Group, and Mach 1 Motorsports. I can’t thank all of these guys enough!”

P1A would like to personally thank The Jon Block Group, Mach 1 Motorsports, SE Composites, Chateau Spinal Rehab and DrippinWet for their involvement.
