BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (June 19, 2012) – Fans who attend the Triumph Superbike Classic presented by America’s First Federal Credit Union at Barber Motorsports Park next weekend will have more opportunities than ever to enhance their event experience.

In addition to watching some of the greatest on-track action the AMA Pro Road Racing
Series has ever seen, ticketholders will have multiple opportunities to meet riders and their teams and even a chance to take their own motorcycle onto the 2.38-mile track.

The first chance for fans to meet riders will be at the AMA Pro Fan Party on Thursday night. Scheduled for 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Billy’s Sports Grill (4520 Overton Road in Birmingham), fans will have a chance to visit with their favorite riders of the AMA Pro Road Racing Series in a casual atmosphere prior to the start of race weekend. Door prizes such as race tickets, motorcycle parade lap passes and event merchandise will be given away as well.

At the end of Friday’s on-track activities, all Friday ticketholders attending the event will be allowed to walk the picturesque track with the stars of the AMA Pro. The track walk will be free to all ticket holders and ZOOM Motorsports, the exclusive promoter at the Barber Motorsports Park, will donate a portion of the day’s ticket sales to the Roadracing World Action Fund.

Twenty-eight riders have committed to the track walk, including Roger Hayden, Josh Hayes, Josh Herrin, Blake Young, Geoff May, Chris Ulrich, David Anthony, Jordan Burgess, Reese Wacker and Steve Rapp from the National Guard SuperBike Series. Jason DiSalvo, Cory West, Taylor Knapp, Walt Sipp, JD Beach, Jake Gagne, Dane Westby, Martin Cardenas and Austin DeHaven will represent the Daytona SportBike Class, while SuperSport riders Jake Lewis, Dustin Dominguez, Hayden Gillim, Tomas Puerta, Elena Myers, Miles Thornton and Javelin Broderick also have committed. Kyle Wyman and Shane Narbonne will represent the XR1200 Harley-Davidson division.

Saturday’s and Sunday’s schedules include a stunt show, Fan Walks to meet the riders and teams, as well as Parade Laps for fans to take their personal motorcycles onto the track. Nick “Apex” Brocha and Ernie “EDub” Vigil will return to Barber Motorsports Park for the first time since filming the highly viewed video “The Chase” at the renowned road course and motorsports museum. Nick and Ernie, who also star in the “Motorcycles vs. Car Drift 2” film that’s been viewed more than 10 million times on YouTube in just four months, will perform during the scheduled lunch breaks Saturday and Sunday.

The fan walks are open to all guests who have purchased paddock access pass. The Fan
Walks allow fans to interact with the riders and their teams and view their bikes just prior to day’s racing activities.

The parade laps offer fans the opportunity to take their motorcycle on track the same
weekend as the AMA Pro Road Racing Stars. Parade laps are available at the end of the day Saturday and Sunday and are $30.

In addition to all the rider interaction, fans also will have the opportunity to see some of the latest motorcycles and motorcycle accessories in the Fan Expo area. Triumph, Suzuki,
Kymco and Rider’s Harley-Davidson will all be on-site with their latest products, as will
several motorcycle accessory dealers. The Fan Expo area also will be home to the Kids Zone as well as event and rider merchandise.

“We believe that any fans who come out to this event will stay entertained from the time
they come through the gates until they leave,” said Rick Humphrey, vice president of ZOOM Motorsports, the exclusive event promoter at Barber Motorsports Park. “The rider support we have received for these activities and the fan response to the variety of activities has been incredible.”

Tickets for the Triumph Superbike Classic start at just $15 and can be purchased at
www.barbermotorsports.com. Kids 15 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult.
The Motorcycle Super Saver package is available until June 21st with access to three
motorcycle events at Barber Motorsports Park in 2012, along with complimentary

While at Barber Motorsports Park, fans are encouraged to visit the Barber Vintage
Motorsports Museum, a 144,000 square foot home to the largest private collection of
motorcycles, representing 20 countries and over 200 manufacturers. Tickets to the
Museum are available for an additional fee and can be purchased at the door.
