(July 12, 2012) - Fresh off his best finish of the season Benny Solis and the Kneedragger.com/Triplecrown crew plans to keep their positive momentum moving in the right direction. The 2011 AMA Pro SuperSport West Champion David Gaviria finished 4th at Mid-Ohio last year in race 1 and he's coming off a personal best at Barber so the time and place could be right for Gaviria this weekend. Dehaven had to rally back after being run off track in race 2 of round 6 but he's looking forward to going after his best finish of the season. Stefano Mesa has proven that he has the ability to win and podium this season, a solid set up with a competitive machine has given Mesa the confidence he needs to produce results at Mid-Ohio.

Team Owner, David Brite "Each race has given us the information we've needed to help these riders improve. Benny had his best finish of the year at Barber, Gaviria beat his personal best there, Austin was on track to work his way to the front but was run off course by another rider and Stefano felt like he had the bike to win the race. As the season has gone on, people are starting to see that the Kneedraggers.com/Triplecrown Industries team is getting closer and closer to the podium each race. We've had podium finishes and wins this season and this team is going to do what we can to put our riders on the box again this weekend. Weather and changing temperatures always seem to be a factor at Mid-Ohio and it looks like this weekend won't be any different. I like our chances, this could be the weekend we put all the pieces together and produce the results that I know these riders are capable of."

David Gaviria "Barber was good for me. It was the first race with the Kneedraggers.com/Triplecrown Industries team and I was already beating my times from last year. I've been able to ride well at Mid-Ohio, finished 4th in race 1 last year. We learned a lot at Barber, I'm more comfortable on the bike and excited about this race."

Benny Solis "The last time I was at Mid Ohio was 2008 on a 125 with the Redbull Rookies Cup. This will be my 1st time to ride a 600 at this track and I'm going to concentrate on finding the right brake markers and finding out where to tip in. I feel like I know the layout and I might get a tow from my teammate David Gaviria in the first session out, he's spent some time here on a 600 and has done well here. I want to do better than I did at Barber which means we are looking for 6th or better. What I do remember about this track is that I had a really good time here, it's a fun, technical track that I feel I can do well at and I'm really excited about this weekend."

Austin Dehaven "I don't have a lot of seat time at Mid-Ohio but I am excited about the progress we have made on our set up. It's weekends like where you never know what's going to happen and sometimes that can be in your favor. I'm just looking forward to figuring things out and getting as close to the front of the pack as I can."

Stefano Mesa "I'm lucky to be surrounded by a great crew, David Brite, Robert Ward and Andy Demming we went over the Barber race and I learned a lot from that weekend. I have to be more patient, my team has reminded me that you can't win a race in the first lap and that anything can happen in the SuperSport class so I need to be patient and look for the right time to make my move. I didn't have the best time at Mid-Ohio last year, front brake problems and a high-side but I like my chances this weekend, especially if we get some weather. I think I'm better in the wet than the dry but either way I'm ready to push hard this weekend."
