Travis Ohge To Ride HSBK Racing Entry On Ducati 848 in AMA Pro SuperSport Event at NOLA Motorsport Park

HOUSTON, Texas (October 2, 2012) – HSBK Racing is proud to announce that rider Travis Ohge will pilot the Houston Superbikes prepped Ducati 848 in the SuperSport Class. He will race the final GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing round at NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans, Louisiana October 6-7. Currently, Ohge is 8th in the West point’s standing.
“We have had a great season with Derek Wagnon and are pleased to add Travis to our roster. Having such talented young riders is a privilege that we couldn’t have imagined for our first year,” commented Team Proprietor, Bobby Shek.
This season at Miller Motorsports Park, Travis Ohge rode on a mildly modified 848EVO and had the fastest time in the rain qualifying session. He finished last year 4th in the point standings in AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport West. He had a season best finish of 3rd at both Infineon and Miller. In 2010, Ohge finished his rookie season eighth in the point standings with five top 10 finishes.
Travis commented, "I’m really grateful the HSBK Racing team has given me the opportunity to complete the season with them. The support they showed at Miller and the dedication to getting me comfortable on the HSBK848 for this race has been incredible."
