Elkhart Lake, WI June 7, 2013 – Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha SuperBike rider and three-time defending AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike Champion Josh Hayes, along with his teammate, 2012 SuperBike Rookie of the Year Josh Herrin, were back in action at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI, this past weekend.

Cameras rolled as the bikes rolled, with live racing being broadcast on CBS Sports Network. Along with some of the exciting racing footage, we also captured lots of the behind-the scenes action--including unique perspectives from Josh Hayes and Josh Herrin--of another successful and memorable weekend at the 4.05-mile, 14-turn Road America road course.

Josh Hayes had one of his signature perfect weekends at Road America, as he earned the pole, won both SuperBike races, and led the most laps in both races to maximize his championship points haul. Josh’s utter domination at his favorite track rocketed him back into contention for his fourth SuperBike title in a row. Meanwhile, Josh Herrin and his team worked diligently to improve on their sixth-place finish in SuperBike Race 1. Their hard work paid off as they found some magic for Sunday, and Josh recorded his third podium result of the year in Race 2.

Check out our Road America team video, which features a soundtrack by the band “Healing Sixes,” with drummer and motorcycle road racing fan Wade Parrish. In the video, Josh Hayes talks about the awe-inspiring elevation change that is part of the 1.2-mile long front straight at Road America. Also, Josh Herrin discusses his favorite turn at Road America. And, of course, no team video would be complete without the Monster Energy Umbrella Girls:

The teams will return to racing on the weekend of June 21-23 at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, AL.
