DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (May 8, 2014) – Dating back to 2011 when Elena Myers competed in just her second AMA Pro SuperSport season, the female sensation has earned top ten finishes in all six races at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis. - the venue and location of AMA Pro Road Racing’s second round of action scheduled to take place later this month on May 30-June 1, 2014.

Myers began her second GoPro Daytona SportBike season earlier this year when she competed in the 73rd DAYTONA 200. Although the California native didn’t have her strongest performance with a 29th place finish in the legendary race, she’s proven in the past that she’s more than capable enough to hang with the men and will pose a serious threat when she takes to the track at Road America.

“Daytona was a little rough for me but it’s always one of those places where you just want to get out of there in one piece and luckily I was able to do that,” said Myers. “I typically prefer racing on faster tracks, so that’s probably the main reason why I’ve been able to have the kind of success I’ve had at Road America in the past. I’ve been training hard since Daytona and I expect solid results at the end of the month and for the rest of the season. I know I’ll have my work cut out for me though as the GoPro Daytona SportBike field is stacked with just as much, if not more talent than I’ve ever competed against."

Myers will be flanked by Castrol/Triumph/Apex Manufacturing teammate Jason DiSalvo for the remainder of 2014 as they lead a Triumph squad eager to stamp their name in the record books. DiSalvo was one of the frontrunners early on in the DAYTONA 200 before he and Dane Westby got tangled up and crashed, ending their days early.
