INDIANAPOLIS (August 7, 2014) - At the 2013 AMA Pro Racing Awards Banquet, Next Moto Champion Magazine presented its first-ever "Rider of the Year" Award. In the spirit of Next Moto Champion Magazine, the purpose of this award is to shine a spotlight on the talent, determination, and character of the riders who compete in AMA Pro Road Racing. At the same time, we at NMC are putting our stamp of approval on an athlete who just might be the "Next Moto Champion."

JD Beach received the "Rider of the Year" Award in 2013, along with the honor of being on the cover of the December issue of Next Moto Champion Magazine, a framed poster of that cover, and a check for $1,500. Next Moto Champion Magazine, in partnership with Next Moto Champion Video Productions, is happy to announce that we will be back to present the 2014 "Rider of the Year" Award at this year's AMA Pro Road Racing Awards Banquet, scheduled for Monday September 15 at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

This year's recipient will be honored by having his/her image featured on the cover of Next Moto Champion Magazine, and he/she will also receive a framed poster of that cover, a rider-profile video, and a check for $2,500.

Jon Boucher, President of Next Moto Champion, said, "As a young and growing company, it is an honor to present the "Rider of the Year" Award for the second year in a row and alongside such well-established companies as Sunoco, Saddlemen, and Cortech, who will also be presenting awards at the 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing Awards Banquet. When it comes to the action and competition on the track, I think you would be hard-pressed to find a group of riders that defines the Next Moto Champion brand better than the athletes who are competing in the 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing Championship. Riders like Jake Gagne, Cameron Beaubier, Jake Lewis, and others will not make this an easy decision, but we at NMC really look forward to presenting this award at this year's Banquet."
