Richard is the current owner of Sportbike Track Time (STT), one of the most popular track day organizations in the US. In March 2012, Richard Harris rolled on to the AMA Pro Racing grid at Daytona for the first time. In a post Daytona interview Harris said “Racers should be riding more track days and the track day riders should be entering more races, I know it’s not going to be easy, but I’m a big believer in bringing the two worlds together.” Richard started walking the talk when he signed up for his first AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport race in 2012, however, his racing career began in 1998 with the Great Lakes Road Racing Association (GLRRA) then with WERA North Central Division with several wins in the National Endurance Series.
Richard is also the founder and owner of Apex Manufacturing LLC, a prototype manufacturing and production company.
Richard will ride the Apex Manufacturing LLC/Triumph Daytona 675R in five rounds of the AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport.
